Layyah: Deputy Commissioner Amira Bidar visited various places of Layyah city during the rain and inspected the roads and streets on the occasion. The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the measures taken by the Municipal Committees for rainwater harvesting. Deputy Director Development Kamran Javed, Chief Officer Municipal Committee Sabteen Bukhari were also present on the occasion. The Deputy Commissioner also inspected various disposal works and directed that steps should be expedited to drain out rainwater and the disposal works should not be closed under any circumstances. The Deputy Commissioner said that all the necessary machinery should be kept in operational condition and special focus should be given on all the low-lying streets of the city so that people do not face problems in commuting.
